Our gooseberry season starts in December and goes on till January.

We can deliver to your business address.

Everything comes back into fashion – a beautiful fruit and health experience. Excellent source of vitamins A & C, proanthocyanidins (tannins), calcium, iron, magnesium, and phosphorus. Green gooseberries are lovely sharp firm fruit in early December and become sweetish and soft closer to January. They have lots of natural vitamin C and fiber. They taste great fresh or frozen, are a wonderful addition to your smoothies, and are excellent for baking.

Overnight delivery only. We usually dispatch fresh/frozen produce from Monday to Wednesday. Cut off at midday.

Such a shame!

Beautifully packed and a good number. However, arrived warm! Not very nice tasting A real mixed beg being near end of season. Nothing like the beautiful gooseberries I grew up with in Christchurch NZ ! Very small in size and not with the cost! Very expensive

Hi Sandra, We are sorry to hear about your dissapointment. Our gooseberry harvest is usually in its peak around Christmas time, by January our second and third pick berries can be smaller and softer. I see your order didn't arrive till late afternoon, which means berries were most likely in a van for the whole morning on a hot day and sadly we don't have any control over the delivery times and over the courier. We are trying to do our best we can to keep them fresh as much as possible by adding an ice pack in the parcel, package them well and keep them fresh and chilled as long as possible before going away with the courier, we also use perishable delivery, all this reflects in the cost. I would suggest to order a bit earlier in the seaseon next time, middle or late December, as early January is usuaslly our last pick of the berries. Thank you for understanding.
