First time gooseberry!

I've never eat gooseberry before and I suprised it's so tasty by eating as jam !

I love gooseberries and would have liked to purchase some raw, the jam was second choice however as I still have some damson plum jam to finish it'll be a couple more days before a review. It looks delicious, beautiful jar too, can hardly wait. Hold this thought.

I would strongly recommend the gooseberry jam baked in filo pastry and eaten whilst still warm. I cant wait to open our blueberry liqueur at Christmas!
