Hi, I am currently doing dialysis and by doing some research I found this juice that was supposed to be great for the kidneys.

I began taking the blueberry juice and my blood tests were greatly improved including creatinine levels and urea. I stopped because I assumed covid had stopped all international shipping and I noticed that I began to feel tired and not so well. Numbers again creeped up and blood pressure was unstable. I ordered some more juice that will arrive by boat but I’m looking forward to feeling well again. The juice has got a lovely taste which is an added bonus considering how good it is for my health .

In 2007 I underwent open heart surgery to replace my aortic valve.
Subsequent complications made it necessary to change medication to control atrial fibrillation, and extra fluid. Some medication causes kidney function problems. My sister-in-law also had the same surgery 12 years before me.

Hello to you all I thought I should let you know how much the Blueberry Juice is helping me. I have been on dialysis for two years. This has meant sitting with the machine 5 hours 3x a week. Initially there were two parts to the treatment – cleansing the blood and removing excess fluid. Recently I realised I was able to drink 2 litres of fluid a day and with my kidneys working quite well I was not accumulating fluid. I now only need to have the cleansing of the blood which is a huge help. I am the only patient in the Wellington Renal Department in this situation! My husband, Prince, was told in late September, his kidneys were failing. Kidney function at that point was 16%, dialysis was just around the corner. Once we were over the initial shock of that, I got on the internet to find out as much as I could, and found Mamaku Blue. We drove there as soon as we could, and bought a dozen bottles. In early October he began taking 150mls daily, as well as the health powder, in his cereal. His energy levels picked up straight away, he could mow the lawns without tiring as well as other jobs around the house. My husband is 68 and still works a 50hr week. Our next 2 visits to the renal clinic, were disappointing as kidney function was now down to 13%. I started on Mamaku Blue juice earlier in the year after doing some researches and it shows that Blue berry juice is great for people with type 2 diabetes with kidney issues. Since taking the juice my urinal tests has dropped from 37 to 32 and improving. The aim is to go below 30 which is the norm. I take a glass a day on an empty stomach and this seems to work just fine. 18 month ago I was in Auckland Hospital with kidney failure – when discharged I was on Recormon injection 4000IU once a week. About 12 month ago I started Blueberry Juice 150 mls daily. OUR CUSTOMER WHO HAS GONE OFF DIALYSIS BY TAKING MAMAKU BLUE PURE, 100% BLUEBERRY JUICE. It was in early July 2014 that my wife was admitted to hospital with kidney failure. At 85 years of age she was already a diabetic on 32 units of injected insulin daily and had had a pacemaker inserted in 2013 and also had severe osteoarthritis affecting the whole of her spinal column. She was also legally blind and wore a hearing aid in both ears. For 3 days after her admission she was in a coma and was given a slow dialysis after which she slowly regained consciousness. Her urine output early was nil or next to nothing and this was so for many weeks. The official medical outlook was most pessimistic but she was maintained on 3 dialysis sessions per week. I learned from the internet about favourable responses attributed to the use of blueberry juice in renal failure, especially on your site at Mamaku Blue.

After consulting with her dietitian and her physician, I started her on
Mamaku Blue in September. The first thing that I soon noticed was a mild but quite distinct improvement in her urine output and that in itself was encouraging. Finally, she was allowed home with strict attention to diet in late November but still on 3 dialyses per week. Unfortunately, she had been home for only 3 weeks when she suffered an embolic stroke on Christmas Day 2014 and was admitted back into hospital. She still has a left-sided paresis (arm and leg) and is now bed-ridden but she communicates well and is a pure delight. Her facial palsy is almost undetectable. It was not until early February 2015 that she was again allowed home from hospital as we had arranged for home nursing and home dialysis. Since September 2014 and throughout all this, I had been able to maintain her intake of 150 mls of Mamaku blueberry juice daily. She has recently amazed us all when her renal function began to show definite signs of improvement and the renal physician began to reduce her dialysis from 3 sessions to 2 sessions per week. Then, to our final amazement he announced that she had improved to such an extent that she could come off dialysis altogether. She has been without dialysis now since early March 2015 (the past 9 weeks) and, what’s more, she no longer requires her daily dose of insulin! Her back pain has improved to the extent that she no longer takes any regular analgaesics for it. All her other physical signs and observations are within the normal range.

Her last blood test about 10 days ago showed a still further improvement in renal function and she seems to be going well. As well as wonderful medical attention and nursing care there have no doubt been many prayers offered for her recovery during this period and we are thankful indeed for them all.

Nonetheless, there is no doubt in our mind that Blueberry juice has been the main vehicle by which her amazing improvement has been achieved and we are most grateful for that and also to Anne Frost at Mamaku Blue for her early encouragement ’to try it out.

This seems a long testimonial but it is worth telling despite our age and maybe more so because of the age! Anyway, we would be happy for you to use the above.

I purchased the Mamaku Blueberry Juice when I was desperate for something to help my 89 year old father, with his failing kidney function.

At that stage he had 20% function and was failing fast. Doctors really didn’t have any answers, except to say that he would soon need to consider dialysis. After 3 weeks of taking the juice, his kidney function improved to 29%. Doctors couldn’t believe it as they had told him the best they expected was that he may hold at 20% if he was lucky. Three weeks later, there was further improvement to 38% and after another month it has improved further to 44%. There have been no other changes to his medication and this we believe is all due to the Blueberry Juice, of which he takes 150ml per day.          
My mother of 85 years, has Type 2 diabetes and suffers repeated urinary tract infections. She struggled to keep her blood sugar reading stable. Readings would range from 7 to 10 and sometimes higher. Second time I have purchased the 1 litre pure 100% blueberry juice on line. I have found it helped get my kidneys back in shape as blueberries are low potassium food and anti-oxidant rich food that doesn’t harm your kidneys. So even if it is a bit expensive fruit it does work. I had renal failure and was told next step was dialysis which wasn’t where I wanted to go. Started drinking 100 mls of pure blueberry juice with hot water like a tea each morning. Went to my doctor after a month and my kidneys were good, blood pressure was good and lost weight too. My husband Terry was told he had chronic kidney failure, wow, how? He had very high cholesterol so the Dr put him on a high dose of statin drugs which did nothing so they kept putting up the dose. We have read since that the statin drugs can affect your kidneys. The only thing they (Dr) could give him was blood pressure pills. After blood tests which read his kidney function at only 38-39% and the fact that they were leaking protein at a number of 12.4 (normal is 2) I started to look on the internet and found Mamaku blueberries which they said were very high in antioxidants would help. We visited the shop and ordered 6 bottles to start with and with him taking 150mls daily his next test the protein leaking went down to 4.2. The Dr was amazed and said keep doing what your doing. He did cut the juice down to 100mls but it went back up to 10.4 again. He is back taking 150mls and we have been testing him every month or so to check it and at the moment is has gone down to 4.4. The kidney function has stayed at the same %. So we continue to monitor his kidneys. I am a diabetic with type 2 diabetes on insulin which gave complications to my kidney. I am a diabetic with type 2 diabetes, this led to my kidney failure. I lost at least 75% of my kidney function, and was on Hemodialysis at the hospital for up to 6 hours every day.

I was introduced to Mamaku Blue Pure – 100% Blueberry Juice in January this year 2013. I took the suggested amount for kidney failure of 150mls per day. This had an immediate effect of increasing my urine output from just a quarter of a litre a day to filing the litre bottle and this has continued until the present day. I believe this Mamaku Blue Juice seems to have kicked my kidneys into life again. I am now on APD Dialysis at home, plugged in at night while I sleep – I have my life back, I can now do other activities in the day time.

I had trouble with my eyes my vision was blurred, but after drinking this Mamaku Blue Blueberry Juice my vision became clear – however when I ran out of Juice my vision became blurry again once back on the Juice my vision cleared. Amazing result.

The Mamaku Blue Pure 100% Blueberry Juice still has it’s natural sugars but did not seem to have a negative affect on my blood sugar levels which remain to be quite good. I believe it has also helped my pancreas which is now functioning better.

My energy levels have really increased since having the Mamaku Blue Juice, declines when I run out, and comes back when I start the Juice again.

On the medical side my doctor is very pleased with my medical results and has informed me that my blood count is becoming normal, so I do not have to take the blood count pills anymore, he has also taken me off the pills that stopped the potassium and calcium build up in my body as the levels of both are now normal.

I had 3 visits from the pre-dialysis nurse and stent surgery to enable me to have home dialysis was imminent. I visited Mamaku Blue last March and I was very interested to read Colleen MacCarthy’s testimonial as I also have chronic kidney failure. I was at stage 4 – advanced kidney failure with severe decrease in the filtration of my kidneys. Stage 5 is Dialysis to survive. At that time my Nephrologist had told me that my kidney function was so bad that I would have to go on dialysis. I refused to do that and told him that he needed to find an alternative.
